Perth-bred singer-songwriter Emily Barker followed her musical dreams to the UK well over a decade ago now, and has spent that time building a strong career with her beautiful soul-flecked, blues-tinged music.
She’s released numerous albums over the journey – both under her own name and as part of the trio Red Clay Halo – and she even penned and performed the theme tune to kickass BBC nordic noir show Wallander!
I freaking love that show, for real! Anyhoo, Emily is coming back out to Australia supporting fellow English troubadour Frank Turner, and while in town is coming into Sonic Sherpa at 2.30pm on Saturday 1 December (straight after the Dark Fair instore) making that day a winning live music double-header of epic proportions!
